This is an oil painting. Approaching the Sanibel Lighthouse from this direction on the pathway, I relished in the colorful, late afternoon skies. What a glorious site and an interesting vantage point of the lighthouse with the dappled sunlight peeking through the trees and onto the shell path.
Canoeing on a hazy, lazy day, you come across a deserted beach. The water is crystal clear and is both warm and refreshing, It is shades of blues, greens and lavenders. They match the dreamy sky. Time for a little siesta or a cuddle?
Hailed as "A Powerful work of Art", the blazing displays alight the rivers and are a sight to behold. As the crowd grows and the beating music rises thousands of onlookers delight. Imagine a relaxing gondola ride down this lovely river! Are you in Venice or Providence, RI?
I've chosen every color in the rainbow for this painting. It reminds me of being a child and going to the circus. It is so colorful with it's painted clowns, brightly decorated tents and exciting rides. Do you feel the energy?

This is an oil painting done with a palette knife. I love the way these anthuriums nestle against each other for support and strength. One is reaching for the sunlight while the other is content to rest in the shade. Are you basking in the sun?
A Bromeliad is one of the many beauties of the tropics. There are pools of water between its overlapping leaves. They can perch high in the treetops and are brimming with life. This is a magnificent plant.
